Fun With Food Kids Club

This Month's Kids Recipe:

Cut a variety of fruits into bite-size pieces: apple, banana, orange sections, pineapple chunks, seedless grapes, strawberries, cherries, peaches, melons, etc. Place on long toothpicks, skewers, or plastic straws.

Wash vegetables and cut into small pieces. Suggested vegetables include: carrot, zucchini or summer squash, red or green bell pepper, frozen or fresh pea pods. Heat skillet to medium heat. Add 1 teaspoon vegetable oil, 1 clove chopped garlic, vegetables, 1 teaspoon soy sauce and ½ teaspoon thyme leaves. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring every minute until vegetables are crisp-tender.
